Black Slave
 
Zan-noon has narrated the following story:
 
Once I saw a black slave girl being chased and stoned by children while they were yelling, “This bitch says she has seen Allah!” So I followed her around. Suddenly she called upon me, “Lo! Zan-noon” I was shocked, “How do you know me?”  She replied, “The souls of Divine Lovers are the Lord’s army, thus know each other well” [1] I said, “What is this the kids talking about?” She asked, “What did they say?” and I responded, “They say you claimed seeing Allah” She acknowledged, “They are telling the truth! Since I have come to know It, nothing is able to veil me (against seeing the Lord)”.
