O My servant, a knowledge that makes you see Me is the path to Me; a
knowledge through which you do not see Me is only a beguiling veil.
O My servant, behind all that is Zāhir (Outmost & Manifest) and all
that is Bātin (Inmost & Concealed) is My
Knowledge, inexhaustible.
O My servant, I am the Knower; whosoever sees Me benefits from
knowledge; whosoever does not see me is harmed by knowledge.
O My servant, once you see Me, the scholars become forbidden to you and
knowledge brings nothing but harm for you.
O My servant, since you have not seen Me, then sit in the company of
the scholars and enlighten yourself with the light of knowledge.
O My servant, the light of knowledge makes knowledge apprehensible to
you but does not make Me apprehensible to you.
O My servant, the scholars show you how to obey Me but not how to see
Me.
O My servant, if I absent Myself from you and you do not find a
scholar, read then what I bestowed upon you of wisdom and say: “My
Sustainer, I am the one who is incapable of seeing You, I am the one
unable to bring you back. I am the one who is even incapable of
remaining within a single Hāla (Momentary State)
of Your Daymūmiyat (Solitary
Everliving).”
O My servant, say to Me when you are in the state of vision: “You are
You” and say to Me when you are in the state of absence:"I am I”.
O My servant, your final abode shall be what satisfies you; consider
then carefully what does satisfy you.
End.

يا عبد علم رأيتني فيه هو السبيل إلي، علم لم ترني فيه هو الحجاب الفاتن.
يا عبد لي من وراء كل ظاهر وباطن علم لا ينفد.
يا عبد أنا العالم من رآني نفعه العلم، من لم يرني ضره العلم.
يا عبد إذا رأيتني فالعلماء عليك حرام والعلم بك إضرار.
يا عبد إذا لم ترني فجالس العلماء واستضئ بنور العلم.
يا عبد نور العلم يضيء لك عنه لا عني.
يا عبد العلماء يدلونك على طاعتي لا على رؤيتي.
يا عبد إذا غبت عنك ولم تر عالماً فاقرأ ما أتيتك من الحكمة وقل رب أنا
العاجز عن رؤيتك وأنا العاجز عن غيبتك وأنا العاجز في كل حال عن البقاء
على ديموميتك إن رأيتني فيما كشفت عني وإن غيبتي فلحديتي.
يا عبد قل لي في الرؤية أنت أنت وقل لي في الغيبة أنا أنا .
يا عبد مأواك رضاك فانظر ماذا رضيت.
