86.1: "Wa (By) The Sky, Wa (By) the Tāriq (Night Voyager)"

Wa or Waw
"Wa", when used in this manner is understood to communicate an oath or a swear e.g. " I swear by ...."; however, in the language of the Dhikr (Reference), "Wa" is the Harf (Divine Alphabet) that reveals the greatness and the terrific complexities and innovations of, say, the sky or the extraterrestrial entities that travel within its darkness.

In Kitab Al-Waw, Ibn 'Arabi notes that the Arabs pronounce the Waw as Waw+Alif+Waw in triadic lettering:

1.    Primary Waw: The Waw of the perpetuity of the Creator’s inventiveness as Waw-Waw back to back. It sounds like oooo, a continuous expiration from the densely innervated thoracic region in humans which is specialized in this type of breathing in order to render the Divine Continuities (Mumāsika); this oooo sound is also the one used in "Kun" (Be) [16:40]
2.    Alif: Impenetrable irremovable Hijab (Veil) separating the two aforementioned Waw(s) so that the two essences are distinguished from one another,
3.    Secondary Waw: Waw-Waw pronunciation of Hu’s oooo expiration’s sound. It is an indication of the Absolute Absence (Ghaibah Mutlaqah) of Allah, which is the prerequisite for the formation of all Surat (Shapes & Forms) within this temporal, transient, and corporeal universe. Without this Waw, the Surat (Shapes & Forms) would not have been possible, since all shapes and forms are shattered and wiped off when they are in close proximity to the Divine Presence!

Consequently, the triadic lettering of the Waw in this ayah gives the sky and all other entities which are preceded by Waw their magnificence, purpose and importance.

The Sky

In his commentary on this verse, Mulla Sadra states:

“The Sky is either the terrestrial space of the Minor Universe ('Alam Saghir) or the spiritual sky of the Eminent Universe ('Alam Kabir).
Or, the Sky is al-Nafs al-Nātiqa (The Communicational Self) which is the space for the entrance (exhibition) of the (communications of the) Divine Secrets and what has been concealed; all the attributes and happenings of the terrestrial sky are also applicable to this spiritual sky e.g. spatial attributes, eclipse, sunrise etc...
An example of the latter is the Tāriq (Night Voyager), the radiant blazing spiritual entities that enter into al-Nafs al-Nātiqah (The Communicational Self) and can be viewed as though a blazing star.”

Tāriq (Night Voyager)

In the language of the Arabs, the verb Taraqa means: "to travel by night" as in a messenger or a delegate who travels in a rush to reach a particular destination.

Mulla Sadra :

“Tāriq (Night Voyager) does Isharat (Point) towards the ‘Aqlia (Intellectual) entities that appear within the universe of potentialities to shed their light , like a sunrise, upon the darkling substances of the cosmos.

A blazing star cannot be viewed in presence of the sun, it is meant to appear as a light source only in the darkness of the night, as the Haqiqa (Reality or Truth) ‘Aqlia (Intellectual) can only appear within the darkling night of the potentialities (Imkān).”

Therefore the blazing star or the nigh voyager illuminates the darkness of the sky of the corporeal world, per the oath of the Waw, for you to see:

86:4." (There is) no Nafs (Self) unless (there is) a Hāfiz (Preserver) for her"

One of the most exotic creations of Allah is the Nafs (Self), this thing that allows me to feel and to proclaim that this is Dara and all others are not Dara! Allah has engineered this creation with the utmost inventiveness...and the structural constitution of this exotic entity requires constant maintenance and safeguarding against erosion:

There are 360 angels in charge of the believer; they chase away from him (all harm) as they chase away the flies from a large bowl of honey on a summer day. "If the believer were to be in charge of his own Self for even a blink of an eye, Satan would snatch him away", said the Prophet peace he upon him.

86:5. "Fa (Causal Alphabet, therefore) the human being (might) look at what he has been created from"

Ey Ruy-e Khurram (O verdant face)

View your existence and your life as a motion picture, unraveling in front of your eyes not as ‘you’ but as a third-person audience. This world is a mere video screen and ‘you’ are none other than one of the actors in this movie. Don’t look from here to there, look from There to here, like the pupil that opens a perforation from the other universe to see (from There) what is in here.

Fa: The Divine Alphabet of Causality and Entanglement

Allah created the semen (spermatozoa), the ovum, the sexual act, the pregnancy, the fetus and the final delivery of the newborn in order for you to see beyond the shadow of a doubt that ,“86:4. (There is) no Nafs (Self) unless (there is) a Hāfiz (Preserver) for her”, and that the Nafs (Self) has been given to you as a precious endowment. You could have never created your Nafs (Self) on your own, as you cannot create a fetus nor deliver a full-term newborn; nor are you able to maintain and protect the underlying processes necessary for the upkeep of this Nafs (Self).

Had "Fa" not been there, our intellects would have never been able to fathom the above linkage, and, the spiritual realm, the cosmos and human psychology would have all remained isolated from one another without linkage, causality or entanglement.

86:7." (human being) Exits from the midst of the spine and the limbs (of the mother)"
The upper skeleton of the pregnant mother provides a vortex, a portal or a space through which the human being exits from the darkness of 'Adam (Non-Being) and enters into this world, like a Tāriq (Night Voyager) or an astronaut who is able to voyage all categories of darkness and to radiate with light from Allah showing the creation what has been concealed within these darknesses.

Lisanul Arab
Ibn Manzour Afriqi
Tarā'ib is two hands and two legs and two eyes, single form is Tariba

لسان العرب  ابن منظور
وقيل: التَّرائبُ اليَدانِ والرِّجْلانِ والعَيْنانِ، وقال: واحدتها تَرِيبةٌ

86:9. "The Day when the Sarā’ir (pl. Sirr) come to be patent (come to show themselves)"
Sirr is an infinitely subtle spiritual organ/faculty which is concealed within the human being, a place or an instrumentation through which the Divine Secrets are viewed as in an observatory or through a telescope. On the Day of Judgment, this faculty leaves the deep concealment of the human being and becomes patent and visible.

Cadenza

Ey Del-Ārām (O solace for the heart): There is a universe free of potentialities and probabilities, meadows of actualities, from which and within which you took shape and found your way through outer-space like a meteoroid eventually preserved into this fossilized biological being-ness upon this marooned planet. All that which is around you, you and I and all else are Projections from this space of Qidam, with the feel and immeasurable prolonging of the infinite past.

In this particular case the Projection takes the form of the Agent/Doer (Ism al-Fā’il):

The Dictionary for Arabic Grammar
Antoine Dahdah

Ism al-Fā’il (Agent Noun)
Takes the form of the past-tense template of the triadic singular verb Fa’ala and morphs into the template Fā’il e.g. Shakara (gave gratitude) to Shākir (Thankful, giver of gratitude). (Past tense verb becomes a Doer)

This particular forming and shaping is from the infinite past projected into the Agents (Doers) of the present in this temporal transient universe.

There are seven such projections in this Surat; these projections or Agents (Doers) are necessary for the intrepid voyager to cross the darknesses,to find earth then die and return back to his or her origination:

Tāriq (Night Voyager): Human being as the Divine Astronaut voyages through a myriad of universes and is able to travel through each and every abject darkness which no other creature can ever traverse. (Taraqa to Tāriq)

Thāqib (Blazing, Piercing): Human being as the blazing star which pierces through all veils of darkness, one after the other, leaving behind only a trail of light and emancipation from darkling light-lessness. (Thaqaba to Thāqib)

Hāfiz (Preserver): Unnumbered many protectors that serve as the preservers of the Divine Astronaut, similar to the spacesuit and life support systems of a spaceship. (Hafiza to Hāfiz)

Dāfiq (Effusive, Gushing): Liquefied Knowledge Form that the interjector of the unlearnt gnosis needs for the Projection from Qidam to here. (The genome is a liquefied archive of records that specifies our molecular past and organic future, it is a projection of Qidam wherein knowledge about each one of us was provided in an actual-form without any potentialities. Female anatomy provides a singularity or a vortex for the projection to eject the entities from  the Qidam into this universe.) (Dafaqa to Dāfiq)

Qādir (Powerful): The energy source that provides the power for the Divine Astronaut to travel from Qidam to here and from here back to Qidam. (Qadara to Qādir)

Nāsir (Helper, Protector): The protector that wards off all harm coming to the Divine Astronaut. (Nasara to Nāsir)

Kāfir (Veiler): The Doer that chose the habitat of the darkness over the voyage of light, preoccupied with the veiling and avoiding the light, he shed the preserving spacesuit and covered himself with the cloak of darkness for eternity. (Kafara to Kāfir)
